Frequently Asked Questions

  • Individuals of all ages, families, and couples are all eligible for counseling at Diversified. Individuals must be able to commute to our office in Kirkwood or reside in Missouri for telehealth. If we believe we are not a good fit for a client or cannot address a specific issue, we will refer them to a different practice.

  • Individuals self-qualify. We do not require clients to submit financial documents to “prove” their need for services. We recognize that financial documents do not provide a holistic view of an individual’s socioeconomic status and ability to pay.

  • Please fill out our screening form. If you are unable to fill out the form or need assistance, please email us at info@diversifiedhwc.com or call us at (844) 462-3492.

  • On our counseling screening form you may ask to work with a specific therapist. However, we cannot guarantee that the therapist is accepting new clients or has a compatible schedule with yours. Additionally, some therapists may be better suited to address your needs than others. We make every effort possible to match clients with the counselor that can best help them.

  • We operate on a sliding scale of $0-30/session. Clients will discuss with their therapist what they can afford.

  • We do not currently have a wait list for counseling services. We are lucky to have many providers on our team to assist clients.

  • There are many ways you can help Diversified Cares. We accept individual financial contributions, grants from foundations and organizations, and in-kind support.

Individuals wishing to make a financial contribution can donate here.

Foundations and organizations wishing to discuss grant and sponsorship opportunities should send an email to marsha@diversifiedhwc.com.

If you would like to offer an in-kind donation or volunteer support, please email info@diversifiedhwc.com.

We appreciate contributions from all, no matter how big or small! Your support ensures we can continue to provide affordable, accessible, and quality mental health care.
